How does poetry reach beyond technique and craft to capture feeling? How can poetry name the unnamable? In this workshop, we’ll explore what makes a poem resonate within us, and how it steps into the space of the inexpressible. Through reading, conversation and generative exercises, we’ll explore how the vibrational energy of image, metaphor, and sensory language can map a landscape of emotion within a poem, capturing the revelatory, and building a bridge of connection between the writer and the reader.
